Using the Download or E-Mail icon, simply choose the format you want. Your resume and cover letter are automatically converted.
How They Work
- PDF saves your documents exactly as you formatted them. (Adobe Acrobat Reader software – a free download – is required to open a PDF.)
- Word retains your formatting.
- Text (ASCII) strips out all the formatting. Job boards and some employers prefer this format.
- HTML (for e-mail only) preserves formatting and lets the e-mail recipient view the documents right in their e-mail browser.
