Rodney Capron, Jr.
President & CEO
A Pongo Resume co-founder, Rodney's role is to guide the overall vision that defines what Pongo is and where it's going, and to ensure that the company has the right people and the necessary infrastructure to achieve its goals. He and wife Lynn, Pongo's Operations Manager, have built multiple businesses together, all based on the process of understanding people's needs and providing solutions through technology.
Rodney brought more than 15 years of sales, management, and technical expertise to his roles as President and CEO of Pongo Resume and Synthenet Corporation. In the past, he also served as the Director of Sales and Marketing and part-owner of Argent Media Group, a web development firm.
Community involvement is an important part of Pongo's business philosophy. We support several cancer-related charities, the Worcester County Food Bank, a local women's shelter, a bird rescue facility, and the causes that are important to our staff members.
Dan Balter
Chief Creative Officer
Dan is Chief Creative Officer at Pongo Resume as well as a co-founder. His extensive experience in internet start-ups includes the co-founding of CareerMD, one of the most recognized and trusted names in career planning for medical students. In addition to the CareerMD.com web site, the company hosts national career fairs and publishes several print publications. Dan also co-founded 10minuteresume.com, the original online resume builder that is now part of the Pongo Resume suite of online career tools.
Earlier in his career, Dan was the Owner and Creative Director of the design firm, Imageline, which provided computer design and simulations for clients in the architectural, legal, broadcast, and gaming industries. Additionally, Dan has worked in architectural reclamation projects, restoring distressed properties for community use; operates an international web site for artists; and continues his own creative work as an artist, painter, and printmaker.
Lynn Capron
Operations Manager
Lynn has worked with Rodney to launch multiple companies in the past decade, and has been a major contributor to Pongo's vision and strategy since its inception. She brings more than 25 years of executive-level project and administrative management experience to her role as Pongo's Operations Manager, with overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and quality of service, creation of company-wide documentation processes, establishing incentive programs, benefits, training programs, and other operations-related tasks.
Outside of work, Lynn enjoys designing and decorating creative fondant cakes, formulating recipes for distinctive baked goods, and gardening.
Jodi Coverly
Marketing Manager
Pongo's management team was familiar with Jodi's marketing acumen even before she joined us. She had spent seven years as Marketing Manager for NEON Communications, a client of Synthenet Corporation (the other business for which Pongo's Rodney Capron wears the President/CEO hat). So it was a natural transition for Jodi to bring her skills to Pongo when we were looking for a management pro to head up our growing marketing team. Prior to her tenure at NEON (which is now part of RCN Metro Optical Networks), Jodi was the Marketing Coordinator for Mirick O'Connell, a law firm in Worcester, MA.
Jodi is a graduate of Assumption College and Becker College, both in Worcester. When she's not handling the strategy and daily operations of Pongo's marketing projects, Jodi gets her aggressions out on a recreational ice hockey team.
Jeff Provost
Customer Support Manager
Jeff’s passion for quality and customer-centric service are evident in his role at Pongo, where he is tasked with leading the Customer Support team to continue to find ways to delight our customers and improve the overall customer experience.

Jeff holds a BS in Business Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and is pursuing his MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, especially during their summer weekends on the beaches of Cape Cod.
Tom Frost
Web Development Manager
Tom heads up the dynamic Development team at Pongo—the people who make the web site look and function the way it's supposed to. Prior to joining Pongo, Tom owned Frost Data Systems, where he worked as an independent software consultant. Before stepping out on his own, Tom was a vital member of the information systems (IS) staff for Staples, Inc., the office supplies giant, for over 10 years. Among his many accomplishments there, Tom played key roles on the IS team that developed and created the Staples.com online superstore.
Tom is a graduate of Framingham State College in Framingham, MA. When not in front of a computer, Tom can be found playing ice hockey, relaxing at a lake in New Hampshire with his family, and collecting sports memorabilia.
Tim Howard
IT Manager
Tim joined Pongo after more than 20 years of management roles in Corporate America. Most recently, Tim was the Senior Manager of IT Operations at Staples in Framingham, MA. Prior to starting his career in IT he served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a Security & Law Enforcement Officer, and was a Police Officer in New Hampshire. Tim's IT strategy is to provide best-in-class services and continuous improvement, based upon sound IT fundamentals, to ensure a stable and secure IT environment that supports Pongo's growing business requirements.
Originally from Maine, Tim has a strong affinity for the outdoors, especially the ocean and the occasional trip up to Maine’s North Woods. In his off time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars, and practicing his handyman skills. He attended the University of Massachusetts and holds a BS in Information Technology.
