POLL: Will You Be Laboring on Labor Day?

September 03, 2009 (10:45AM) by Team Pongo

Labor Day 2009Monday, September 7th, 2009, is Labor Day for most of us (or perhaps Labour Day, depending on where you live).

It's time again to honor all the wonderful people who make, repair, deliver, care for, sell, communicate, design, heal, build, package, protect, serve, rescue, maintain, educate, and beautify the people, places, and things in our lives.

Just out of curiosity, we were wondering how many Pongo Blog readers actually have to work on Labor Day. It's a bit of a sensitive question, since our readership is largely made up of job seekers, many of whom have no job from which to take a day off. (If that's you, sorry. Not trying to rub it in!)

Anyway, take our poll and let us know…

Meanwhile, please accept our wishes for a very pleasant Labor Day, wherever you spend it. Here's to a crisp new outlook in the job market as we head toward autumn!

As always, we'd love for you to post a comment below. Go ahead and share your Labor Day plans, or vent about not having any!
