In addition to your resume, a list of job-related references is another critical career document. Companies normally request the names of three previous employers (and/or co-workers) they can call to learn more about you.
Reference Document Supply a list of references on a separate document. Just as you might customize each resume for each job you pursue, you may also wish to individually select the three references that are best for each position. References that are best for one type of position may not be the most productive for a different opportunity.

Creating Your Online References You can use our software to create your list of references and use the publishing tools (fax, e-mail, print) to deliver your list of references.
To create your list of references, start at the “My Resume” screen and click the “New Resume" button. This will create a new resume document with each resume heading blank. The difference is that you will be creating a list of your references and not a resume. Name this document “References.”
Custom Headings Next, click on "Headings" (upper right area of screen). This will open the headings list window for this document. Remove all headings.
Add three custom headings and title them “Reference One”, “Reference Two”, and “Reference Three”. This will show the three reference headings on your reference document.

Reference Information After adding the three reference headings, click the "Add" button under
each heading to add the reference information.
Each reference should include the following;
- Reference Name - Job Title - Current Company - Work Phone - Cell Phone if applicable - E-mail Address - Relationship to You
Now that you have your references organized in a separate online document, you have access to them from anywhere anytime. You can also use all our tools to distribute your references, fax, e-mail, and print.
