Why can't I log in to my account? (128 bit encryption error).

If you're using a very old web browser such as Internet Explorer  5.0 or lower; Firefox  1.5 or lower; or Safari  1.0 or lower, you will need to download a (free) new version of your browser to regain access to your account.

Here are links to the latest free, downloadable versions of the leading web browsers. Just click the desired link, then follow the instructions to download:

Internet Explorer

Safari

Firefox

Why the Change?

The payment card industry (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover,  etc.) recently instituted higher security measures to better protect your credit card information online.

In order to comply, Pongo – and thousands of other e-commerce companies – had to modify our login systems to support only web browsers that allow at least 128-bit encryption. (Higher encryption means higher security for your private online data.)

 Success Story
I responded to a job ad with my own resume and brief cover letter. After a week I heard nothing. Then I found Pongo's site and created a much nicer resume and cover letter and re-sent it to the same employer. A day later she called me and scheduled an interview. At the interview, she told me that she was not going to call me based on my first submission because "it told her nothing about me." She said the second one impressed her and that I should buy lunch for "whoever" helped me with it. I don't know if it will result in a job but it is definitely helping with getting interviews. - Linda B.
