When you want to change where your resume breaks for a new page, such as when you have a heading at the bottom of a page, your best option is to "create" a page break.
Another option, if you only need to squeeze one line of text back onto page 1, for example, is to try reducing the margins to allow more text on the page.
To Create a Page Break:
- Go to the heading that appears BEFORE the heading you want to move down, and click "Edit."
- In the text box, place your cursor at the end of the last line and hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard several times to add extra lines of space. Then click "Save."
- Click “Preview” to make sure that the desired heading has been pushed onto the next page (if it hasn't, repeat Step 2.)
To Adjust Margins:
- Click the “Margins” button to reduce the margins. Then click "Save."
- Click “Preview” to see how the changes look.
Note: Margin measurements are in Pixels (PX). As a rough guideline, 12 PX equals about 1/8 inch or 3 mm.
We understand that this can be tricky. Our Customer Service team can always help you if you have further questions about formatting.
