Here They Are: Our Graduation 2010 Contest Winners!

July 09, 2010 (11:00AM) by Brianna Raymond, CPRW

Graduation 2010 Now What WinnersPongo's Graduation 2010: Now What? video contest has come to a close, and it's time to announce the winners!

To recap, we asked readers to get creative by making a short video that answered at least one of three job search-related questions, then upload it to the Pongo Resume YouTube page. The questions were:

  1. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
  2. How do you prepare for an interview?
  3. What is the scariest part of life after college?

Earlier this week, judges graded each entry on creativity, originality, quality, and thumbs up/thumbs down comments on YouTube. Without further ado, the winners are:

  • 1st Place: thenameisnora!

She'll be receiving a cash prize of $500, plus another $500 will go to her alma mater. You can watch her submission here. We loved the creativity of her answer, along with the animation she used to bring it to life.

  • 2nd Place: AngryFilmsProduction!

They're getting a cash prize of $250. You can watch their submission here. We thought the quality of the video was great and their answers delivered more than we asked for.

  • 3rd Place: eliseharboldtful!

She can look forward to a $100 cash prize. You can watch her submission here. Her amusing hillbilly parody stuck in our heads for days and her answer made us proud.

Congratulations to all the winners! You'll be contacted by a member of our staff later today.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a video. We were pleased and impressed with each entry!

Happy job hunting to all!
